Community Safety Partnership - Strategic Assessment |
The report of the Chief Executive gave details of the latest Strategic Assessment produced for the Community Safety Partnership and a presentation was given on the key findings of the study. Priorities identified for the coming year included domestic abuse, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse, with a focus on young people in each category. Members expressed concern at the high level of repeat activity on victims of domestic abuse and the problem of identifying and recording intergenerational abuse was highlighted. Reference was also made to enforcement of road safety measures to combat speeding through villages and Members were invited to report local concerns which would be passed to the Police. RECOMMENDED: That the Community Safety Partnership Strategic Assessment, as set out at Annex 1 to the report, be supported and endorsed. *Referred to Cabinet |
